Kimball Office selects The Banker’s Store as its Southern Kentucky dealer
B.G. Office Equipment division to feature Kimball office furniture lines
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (March 28, 2007) – The Banker’s Store (OTC: BSTR.OB), a company that provides financial institutions nearly all the equipment and services they need to do business, today announced it has become an authorized Kimball Office dealer.
The Banker’s Store is Kentucky’s sixth Kimball dealer, and the only one in the Bowling Green and surrounding market.
“We are truly excited to be associated with a premier manufacturer and marketer of office solutions,” said Vince Buckman, Chief Executive Officer of The Banker’s Store. “This relationship with Kimball Office fits perfectly with our strategic growth plans because it provides us a new level of quality and function to offer our customers.”
Said Dirk Manning, Vice President of Sales for Kimball Office: “We look forward to this new and exciting partnership with The Bankers Store/BG Office Equipment. They have provided a high level of service in their area of expertise and we feel that our brand is a perfect fit to fuel continued growth, not only with the banking community, but all contract furniture buyers in the Bowling Green marketplace.”
Kimball Office, a division of Kimball International, Inc., Jasper, Ind., creates productive work environments through a broad line of quality casegoods, seating, and systems products – from wood and metal to laminate, paint, and fabric.
“A relationship with Kimball provides our customers the best combination of function, style, price and variety, from metal to wood, and will expand the range of choices provided to our customers,” said Cindy Hayden, managing director of B.G. Office Equipment, a Banker’s Store division.
B.G. Office Equipment, which already sells new and pre-owned office furniture to banks, will make Kimball Office its premier offering and will establish a dedicated Kimball Office regional showroom at its 370 Cal Batsel Rd. facility in Bowling Green.
Last year, the Banker’s Store hired a new management team to develop a strategic initiative to grow by acquiring regional competitors and buying other related businesses. With a vibrant and growing business environment and a mixture of government and educational facilities in Bowling Green and the region, the office division can strongly complement sales to the banking industry, Hayden said.
“Together, our companies bring a higher level of customer service to this market,” she said. “We have a business partner with a solid track record of offering innovative products that meet or exceed client expectations,” she said.
